Global Cancer Care Egypt (GCCE) is at the forefront of promoting palliative care education in Egypt. Through various initiatives and collaborations, GCCE has played a crucial role in introducing and developing the concept of palliative care across the country.

Conferences and educational meetings

One of GCCE’s key efforts has been organizing conferences and educational meetings focused on palliative care. These events have served as platforms to raise awareness, disseminate knowledge, and foster discussions among healthcare professionals, policymakers, and the community. By bringing together experts in the field, GCCE has been able to showcase the importance of palliative care and its impact on improving the quality of life for individuals with cancer and other life-limiting conditions.

By leveraging technology and bringing together a diverse group of volunteers and specialists, GCCE is actively promoting continuous learning and professional development in the field of palliative care.

Collaboration with academic institutions

Furthermore, GCCE has forged collaborations with oncology departments in Egyptian universities to promote palliative education. By partnering with academic institutions GCCE is able to integrate palliative care principles into the curricula of medical and nursing programs, ensuring that future healthcare professionals receive comprehensive training in this essential field.
